by Quebec (OLD), dam sire Capitol I
2002 German Oldenburg
Quebec is an athletic stallion from the famous Schockemöhle stable. He has excellent scope and quality movement. He is a large stallion, but compact and athletic. Quebec showed successfully in the M jumping classes in Germany. He produces tall, leggy foals with very strong hindquarters. On his mother’s side, Quebec’s lineage goes back to the legendary Landgraf I, a sire of the century.
Capitol I: Harm Thormälen, whose family bred Capitol, said, “The Capitol horses have scope and are easy to handle. Amateurs can ride the Capitol horses. In his last years, Capitol was only allowed to breed to mares with Thoroughbred blood, so Capitol got very good mares. It was top management by the Holsteiner Verband, with very good results in the sport.”
