Hi Again,
Had a nice time in New York with family. Saw the Lion King on Broadway; it was amazing.
Vacation over, and back to the horses on Tuesday! Met up with friends Gail Price and Michelle Mancini. They boarded at my former New England barn, Ocean Breeze Farm. We got a chance to hash over the old days and catch up with each other. I was also introduced to Michelle’s new trainer, Cindy Rose Wiley. I really enjoyed my visit to her farm and getting a chance to know her. They are all planning to come out to New Mexico and see horses in March. That will be a great time!
On my way home I got a call from breeder Lisa Dworkin, of Irish Hills Farm in Florida. Her Glorioso filly has done it again, surpassed her expectations and done an exception job in hand. Zahnya, was scored 79.9% at her first show of the 2009 season. She was the Champion filly, Reserve Champion and High Point of the show! Way to go Lisa and Zahnya, keep those scores coming! I have added one of her pictures so that you can see how truly lovely this filly is. She looks very much like her dad!
On another note, I heard from Kristen Buckels yesterday. She and our mare Sea Siren were 7th out of 79 in the Level 3 Jumpers at HITS Thermal. Way to go girls!
More later…
Anne
